Feeding Pets of the Homeless approved $2,000 for my surgery. A splint was put on my fractured leg and over time the fractures should heal. It was determined that I would need surgery to repair the deep laceration to my leg. They found a Partner Veterinary Hospital nearby to give me an exam and X-rays. My mom found and contacted Feeding Pets of the Homeless to try to get assistance for my injury. While on the street, I was attacked by another dog and had extensive damage to my leg. I am an emotional support animal living in a vehicle in Tacoma, WA with my mom due to domestic violence.
